ABOUT ME AND MY SCHOOL:
I have been teaching as an English Language teacher in Sefa Atakaş Vocational and Technical High School that is focused on teaching & educating in Maritime-Shipping in İskenderun,Hatay province that is situated in the south of Turkey near Mediterrenean Sea.We have 450 students who are taking education in high school level and maritime.We have 50 teachers in different branches.I have applied for various Erasmus + education in different countries in the Europe.We have teacher training and student training education in the Netherlands,Malta,Czech Republic,Italy,Spain,France,England,Scotland,Ireland. Also my school has applied for some e-twinning projects and our school has got national and local e-twinning prize by the national ministry of the education.We would like to make our school more international in European Erasmus+ and E-Twinning projects.We would like to make our school's students and teachers to be more developed and sophisticated in different fields of education.By E-Twinning national and international educational projects, we would like to be more successful and international for developing and improving in teaching-learning methods-techniques in education.The E-Twinning Project that we do or attend will help to increase European dimension in the work of my school and also t he pedagogical approach will be better and newer by sharing ideas,techniques and methods of different colleagues from Europe via E-Twinning systems and portals.Also the quality of the curriculum and syllabus will be better.Other colleagues,education staff and students will have oppurtunities to work ,study in our school by the help of longg term EU mobility projects by sharing ideas,techniques and methods of different colleagues from Europe via E-Twinning systems and portals.To work in collaboration with people from different countries will enlarge our education staff’s and students’ dimensions and point of views in the European Union’s citizenships,unity,cultural developments .
